Synopsis: In the near future, North America has become a paramo ravaged by radioactivity. A unique and large megalopolis extends along the east coast: Mega City 1. This immense and violent city has a population of more than 400 million people, each of whom is a potential offender. Those responsible for ending chaos and imposing order are individuals who act at once as agents of the law, judges, jurors and executioners. In front of them is' Dredd (Karl Urban), a living legend of justice who lives entirely devoted to enforcing the law. In a seemingly routine mission with Cassandra Anderson (Olivia Thrilby), a rookie judge endowed with great psychic abilities, they set out to investigate a homicide in a dangerous 200-story high skyscraper, controlled by the ruthless Ma-Ma clan ( Lena Headley). But in attempting to arrest one of Ma Ma's leading minions, she closes the whole building and orders her men to capture the judges. The struggle for survival would force Dredd and Cassandra to act relentlessly. New adaptation of the same comic already taken to the screen in 1995.
