Tobe Hoopers sequel to the film (1974). The people of Newt (Texas) came from the Sawyer family for hiding the murders committed by Jeb Sawyer, the chainsaw maniac, also known as "Leather Face." When the people of the village, led by Burt Hartman, burned their farm, it was assumed that the whole family had died, but the Sawyers baby survived. Gavin and Arlene, two of the village watchers, took her in secret and raised her as if she were his daughter by the name of Heather. At the age of twenty, when she discovered that she had been adopted, a lawyer located her to tell her that her grandmother had named her an heir of her property.
