VA - Best Of Porretta Soul Festival: 30th Anniversary (2017)

Thirty years ago, Graziano Uliani, emiliano crazy in the soul of soul of the South of the United States and Otis Redding (he had just attended the celebrations of the twenty years of his death in Macon, Georgia) had a dream: to transmutate his Porretta Spas, tiny spa on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine, in a small local Memphis. Since then, on the stage of the festival he devised and launched in 1987, soul giants climb and worship names loved by fans, and this double CD by 103 Music Editions and Discography and Warner is like an exciting flashback over history Of an event that has just earned international fame and recognition, ending up to become a bastion of a historical genre that at home could be completely forgotten: in the two live recordings of the main protagonists of the recent editions of the show that someone has Defined as 'The Italian Woodstock Of Black American Music'.
